Today I watched a film about the great surgeon of the ХХ century, Nikolai Ivanovich Pirogov. This is one of the best films I've watched. The film made a lot of interesting quotes. For example, when Pirogov was told that his exploits were forgotten, he said: "They will not forget, I believe in my fatherland"
The film also included love scenes, although they are not related to Pirogov himself. But I was really struck by another moment. During an indicative operation under ether anesthesia, someone tried to substitute him by giving low-quality ether. Pirogov counted the patient's pulse, and my heart was beating in time with him. I was worried about the life of a man and Nikolai Ivanovich. When Pirogov found out that he had been framed, he said: “The striving of science forward is inevitable and inevitablу”. They applauded him, his authority remained unshakable.
Well, it was an interesting film, I watched it in one breath and would gladly have watched it again
