The formation of tariffs for rooms takes into account two main factors: the cost of the room and the acceptability of the tariff for the client. The hotel tariff should guarantee reimbursement of hotel maintenance costs and return the invested capital, at the same time, the cost of the room should not repel the potential client. According to the first factor, the problem is solved on the basis of an objective structured and formalized approach, in particular the use of new methods and calculation formulas widely used in the modern hotel industry. The other is more subjective and not always amenable to adequate formalization, because it does not specify the price at which the client is willing to buy the service, it is necessary to take into account a number of different factors, from a specific competitive environment in this target market to political and economic stability. At different times of the year, the number of clients fluctuates, and this significantly affects the level of occupancy of the hotel. Having analyzed the data obtained as a result of the calculations, we can confidently say that the occupancy of hotels increases significantly in spring and summer. However, in tourist countries, hotels have approximately the same number of customers all year round. If we analyze the data based on the days of the week, then we will see that the greatest workload falls on Friday-Saturday, on Sunday the number of overseers decreases and remains at the same level throughout the week.
