If I had a chance to go on a
one-day tour to Great Britain, I would choose London. I would like to visit the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament , Trafalgar Square and the London Eye. I think these places are like symbols of London. I only saw them in pictures and would like to see them in reality so much!
Most of all I would like to ride on the London Eye. I know it is about 135 metres high. It is much higher than our observation wheel in Kharkiv.( So, you can see much more from its top!)
2. There are thousands of professions in the world. They all are important, of course. Modern people cannot live without designers who help to make our houses, they can hardly live without people who work in food or clothes making industry. It would be very difficult to travel without drivers or pilots.
However, doctors and teachers are the most important for the well-being of society. To my mind people will not be able to live without these professions. Doctors help us with the most precious thing we have - our health. Teachers educate us, so that we can be worthy members of society .
3. Hi,Ann. If you're planning to come in July, take all the clothes for a hot summer, like shorts,T-shirts, skirts and sunhats. We usually have hot weather in July with the temperature about 28 degrees.
We're going to have a fantastic week. I'll show you all the best places in my city. I'm planning to take you to our great theme park, to our eco-park and Shevchenko garden. I'm going to show you our beautiful churches and monuments. We'll walk down our main Sumska street and other streets in the centre. Hope,you' ll enjoy your stay in Kharkiv.
